FAQ

Q. What is Stone Fabrication?

A. Fabrication is the processes of enhancing natural stone such as marbe or granite. Granite is a natural stone that is used as countertops in houses. It is a popular choice for many people. Fabrication processes make the stone strong and durable; they help prevent damage to the kitchen countertops that are caused by many common elements. There are many steps involved in the fabrication process, and each step helps the natural stone acquire its glossy finish.

Q. What is involved in the Fabrication process?

A. Extracting the granite from the earth is the first process involved in making this stone consumer-ready. There are quarries all over the country where granite is present in various quantities. In order to cut the granite stone, large saws are used. A special chemical is applied to both the saw and stone to help prevent breakage.

The next step in the fabrication process involves cutting these large natural stones into manageable sizes. Slabs are cut into specific lengths, widths and thickness that will eventually be used for countertops.
